Our Story: Rooted in Covenant

In a world that often rushes through the miracle of life, we chose to slow down. The Covenant Wellspring Collective was born out of a desire to reclaim birth work as a "Ministry of Presence."

Our Name Explained:

  • The Covenant: We believe in sacred promises—between a doula and a mother, and between us and our community. We are committed to integrity, honor, and deep relationship.

  • The Wellspring: Like the water flowing from the roots in our emblem, we aim to be a source of refreshment. We pour into our students so they can pour into families without running dry.

  • The Collective: We are stronger together. This is a space where mentorship replaces competition, and where every student is seen as a vital part of the body.

Our Mission: To train and equip a new generation of birth workers who serve the underserved, advocate for the voiceless, and bring peace into the delivery room.

Ebony “Lady”

Co-Founder | Lead Mentor | Labor Progression Specialist | Family & Newborn Specialist

Known affectionately as 'Lady,' Ebony is the proud owner of MaDea's Sunshine Doula and the Co-Founder of The Covenant Wellspring Collective. Born and raised in Watts by way of Compton, she carries the strength, resilience, and community spirit of the Eastside into every birth space she enters.

With over 10 years of experience as a Doula and Family Specialist, Lady operates at the intersection of ministry and medicine. As a Christian Doula, she believes birth is a spiritual act and serves her families with prayerful hands and professional precision. She specializes in labor progression techniques for all phases of birth, using movement and mechanics to help 'stuck' labors move forward smoothly.

Lady is your 'Favorite Best Friend Doula'—a dedicated advocate who ensures that every family, regardless of background, receives dignity, choice, and culturally grounded care. She is honored to walk beside you as a trusted member of your village.

Cierria Leyazhie “Apache”

With over 10 years of experience, Cierria (affectionately known as 'Apache') is a Full Spectrum Christian Doula who sits at the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern evidence. As the founder of Root2Womb Doula Services, she brings a unique, comprehensive approach to the Collective, integrating Ayurvedic Medicine, health coaching, and Christian Hypnobirthing into her care.

Apache specializes in supporting complex journeys, including High-Risk, Plus-Size, and VBAC births, as well as scheduled and emergency C-sections. She believes that every birth—regardless of the medical path—is a sacred, transformative experience. Her goal is to ensure you feel honored, prepared, and deeply cared for by treating the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

Whether serving single mothers, married couples, or non-religious families, Apache provides a judgment-free space rooted in unwavering faith and holistic well-being.
