Covenant Wellspring: Student Enrollment Agreement

I. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • Ownership: The student acknowledges that all curriculum materials, including but not limited to student manuals, slide decks, handouts, and "The Covenant Wellspring" methodology, are the exclusive intellectual property of the Collective.

  • Permitted Use: The student is granted a limited license to use these materials for personal study and for reference in their private practice as a doula.

  • Prohibited Use: The student agrees NOT to reproduce, distribute, publish, or display these materials to the public. The student agrees NOT to use these materials to teach, train, or certify other doulas or childbirth educators.

  • Confidentiality: The student agrees not to share the proprietary "Loaves & Fishes" pricing strategy or internal business documents with competing organizations.

II. Liability Waiver (Assumption of Risk)

  • Nature of Training: The student understands that this course involves physical practice (e.g., hip squeezes, birth positions) and emotional processing. The student assumes full responsibility for their physical and mental well-being during the course.

  • No Medical Advice: The student understands that The Covenant Wellspring provides non-medical education. Completion of this course does not qualify the student to perform medical tasks (e.g., cervical checks, medical diagnosis) or license them as a nurse/midwife.

  • Release: The student releases The Covenant Wellspring Collective LLC, its founders, and instructors from any liability regarding future interactions with clients. The student acknowledges they are an independent provider and solely responsible for their own scope of practice.

III. Refund & Attendance Policy

  • Attendance: Certification requires attendance of all 6 modules. Missed classes must be made up at the instructor's discretion (e.g., via recording or private session for a fee).

  • Refunds: Tuition is non-refundable after the start of Module 1. Withdrawals prior to Module 1 are eligible for a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.

IV. Media Release

  • By enrolling, the student grants permission for The Covenant Wellspring to use photos/videos taken during class for marketing purposes (website, social media), unless they explicitly opt-out in writing prior to the start of the course.
